Project Showcase: 12 Designs for Circularity

We invite you to the project showcase of 12 Designs for Circularity – a curated collection of furniture and interior designs created from New Waste materials.

Through the project “12 Designs for Circularity”, THE UPCYCL has matched design companies with continuous industrial waste streams from manufacturing companies.

The result is a series of circular value chain collaborations and designs created from New Waste materials. The project aims to inspire the utilization of New Waste materials and serves as an example of how industrial waste can be transformed into circular and practical solutions.

This project is part of Closing Loops, EU-funded and supported by the EU’s Regional Development Fund and Danish Board of Business Development.

Closing Loops is run by four cluster organizations: Lifestyle & Design Cluster, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, We Build Denmark, and Clean – Denmark’s Water and Environmental Cluster, in cooperation with the GTS institute Danish Technological Institute and five regional Business Hubs: Zealand, Southern Denmark, Central Denmark, Northern Denmark, and Copenhagen-based business hub (in Danish: Erhvervshus Sjælland, Erhvervshus Sydjylland, Erhvervshus Midtjylland, Erhvervshus Nordjylland og Erhvervshus Hovedstaden).
