Circular case presentation: "Tetsu Lamp" designed by Better Weather and crafted from Lindab’s steel offcuts from their roof and façade panel production in Southern Jutland.
The Better Weather x Lindab case is currently on display at LOOP Forum – a small preview of what’s coming in the 12 Designs for Circularity project.
The two member companies have been matched through the project 12 Designs for Circularity, where THE UPCYCLbrings together 12 design companies and 12 manufacturing companies – leading to the creation of 12 unique designs based on New Waste materials.
Kasper Lynge Jensen, Co-founder of Better Weather, says about the collaboration:
"At Better Weather, we work exclusively with scalable waste materials.
We started our studio with the mindset that the world doesn’t need more furniture – it needs new ways of making it.
Through THE UPCYCL, we connected with Lindab, who genuinely want to explore how their waste can be actively transformed into meaningful objects – big respect for that."
Heino Juhl, Managing Director at Lindab, adds:
"At Lindab, we are working hard to find new ways to reuse our materials.
That’s why we participate in projects like this – where we give new life to what others would throw away."
Strong efforts all around – two companies truly leading the way.
